The excitement of the Euro 24 might be over and the champs of football are crowned, but the summer fun continues with a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your Observability skills at Summerc(h)amp 2024. Join us from July 15th to August 2nd for an engaging and informative experience, featuring three live sessions each week and become an Observability Champ yourselve.
Each day, dive into the world of o11y technologies through hands-on guides and support from our vibrant community. Connect with practitioners from around the globe and enrich your knowledge with just a few hours of commitment each week.
All session content and community discussions will be accessible after the camp concludes on August 2nd, exclusively for our members. Don’t miss out on this chance to enhance your skills and join a network of like-minded professionals!
Timeline (tentative)
Week 1 – Logs, Metrics, Traces – the basics with a hands-on environment containing OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, Prometheus and Jaeger plus a test application to observe.
Week 2 – Visualization – Dashboards, Grafana, Querying, Best practices, etc.
Week 3 – Advanced – Instrumentation, Overhead, Storage, etc.
There’ll be 3 live sessions (1 hour) every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 16:00 CEST hosted by Rainer. Those will be recorded and available in the exclusive community space to watch, talk, share best practices and much more.
At the end of the camp you will have a your own Observability environment that you can play with to your hearts content. Unlike the OpenTelemetry demo it is meant to be extended and tampered with so that you can learn effectively.
